One of the country's top junior riders cited The Perfect Distance as one of his favorite books in a personal interview that appeared in the July 23rd issue of The Chronicle of the Horse. How cool is that?! Thanks, Chase!
You have NO idea how cool that is! He is down-to-earth even though he is a near flawless rider. He is kind, even if your riding is not nearly as good as his. He's very funny, as well. No, I don't have a crush on him---I'm just glad to know him. Unlike many riders who have been handed fabulous, totally "made" horses, he has made most of his horses, from start to finish.
